July 27, 2017: Plains Garter Snake

I ducked under the roof of a mini-shelter (along west side of the north lake) for the second time tonight to get out of the rain.  When I looked down at my front wheel, this Plains Garter Snake was slithering away. (Wolf. Oesterreich, 7/26/17)
