A Common Checkered-Skipper found at the NW corner of the
north lake. These skippers can be found in most of the temperate U.S.
south to the Gulf Coast. They can't survive very cold winters and may not
be permanent residents north of the 40th parallel. (Wolf. Oesterreich, 8/2/19)
