Nov 28, 2021: Ducks on a Foggy Autumn Morning

Nov 29, 2021: Common Mergansers
Several Common Mergansers have been present on the main lakes for a few days. This photo shows 3 males and 4 of the 5 females that were seen on the north lake. Note that one of the females is in the process of eating a fish. (Wolf. Oesterreich, 11/29/21)

Nov 25, 2021: Otter Spotting
All four of the Northern River Otters (mom with 3 kits) have their heads above the water. They were busy fishing in Pond O. These are the first I've seen at the Park since April. (Wolf. Oesterreich, 10/25/21)
Nov 23, 2021: Osprey
An Osprey checks out the south lake's SW corner, but never spotted a fish it wanted to catch. After circling several times, the Osprey flew off to the south. (Wolf. Oesterreich, 10/29/21)
