I was checking out a pond when I spotted a Northern River Otter exit the water onto a slope. A second otter was swimming up to this spot. I went back to my trike to get a camera, but when I returned, they were gone. I continued down the east side of the pond and soon found 3 otters on a log. After a few minutes they slipped into the water and disappeared. However, I was able to relocate 1 further down and along the east shore. The otter gobbled a fish, sank into the waters, and apparently swam off. (Wolf. Oesterreich, 6/28/22)
