Sep 3, 2012: Common Green Darners

Common Green Darners, 9/1/12 (Wolf Oesterreich)

This tandem pair of Common Green Darners was found at what was Pond G.  The male was holding onto the female while she was depositing eggs deep inside the crack where there was suitable moisture.
