New England Aster (Aster novae-angliae), a member of
the sunflower family (Asteraceae), used to be more common this time of the year
at the Park. So far, I've only seen about 6 plants. They are a
magnet for bees and butterflies. (Wolf. Oesterreich, 9/14/18)
