June 14, 2019: Common Green Darner
The male Common Green Darner's (right) abdominal appendages have clasped the female behind the eyes. She is ovipositing on the floating vegetation. Being in tandem like this while laying eggs is unique among darners. (Wolf. Oesterreich, 6/28/13)
