The Cooper's Hawk nest located in the savannah woods
contained at least 3 nestlings. The day I left for Alaska I only spotted
one. Upon my return, I found no activity at the nest. however,
today I observed one fledged juvenile and one of the parents perched in the
nesting tree. The photograph shows the juvenile. (Wolf. Oesterreich, 7/9/19)
