April 9, 2022: Red-breasted Mergansers


One of three merganser species and usually the last to arrive, the Red-breasted Mergansers stopped at the Park in March.  Both individuals of this species appear to be having a "bad hair" day. (Wolf. Oesterreich, 3/21/22)
