This probable immature male
(due to size) Cooper's Hawk was found in the bluff woods. Just before
flying off from this branch, the hawk had turned around and retrieved a small
dark bundle (bird or rodent) from a crook in the branch. (Wolf. Oesterreich, 8/30/17)
