The numbers of Painted Ladies
at the Park have exploded these past two days. From a low of 2 on the
4th, to 223+ on the 5th, I counted at least 592 today. The actual number
of these butterflies could easily be double, if not triple, of what I recorded. (Wolf. Oesterreich, 9/9/17)
