Dickcissels like to perch at or near the top of trees, shrubs, and plant stalks. Most times one can hear them before seeing them. Dickcissels are common along the Upland Trail and the maintenance building trail. This male was found along the Harrison Rd spur. (Wolf. Oesterreich, 6/3/21)
