While exploring the NW corner of Pond E I received a phone call from the Ames Park Department. The ringing caused a hidden Coyote to jump into the water and swim across a sliver of water. Then at 10:00 am, when the siren test went off, a family of Coyotes started to yip. You could hear the higher pitches of the youngsters. However, they remained hidden among the willows. (Wolf.
