Jan 15, 2020: Lesser Scaups

These two male Lesser Scaups have been present on the south lake since December 12th.  While many of the Mallards head out to feed in the adjacent fields, these two stay behind.  They primarily eat aquatic invertebrates, but they can also eat aquatic plants and seeds. (Wolf. Oesterreich, 1/15/20)
