June 7, 2020: Green Heron

While scanning Jensen Pond I spotted 3 Green Herons.  One was standing on a log, with a large American Bullfrog in its bill.  The heron appeared to be squeezing or "tenderizing" the frog.  Minutes later, while I was along the east side, the heron was still holding the frog.  But then the heron spotted me and quickly started to swallow the frog.  As the frog slid down, I could see the throat enlarge.
