April 7, 2021: Brown Snake

 A Brown Snake (Storeria dekayi) observed on the trail between the bluff and Pool F. They are one of Iowa’s smallest snakes, ranging in length from 9 to 13 inches. (Paul Domoto, 4/5/2021).
