June 17, 2018: Killdeer



One of a pair of Killdeer parents trying to distract me.  They would make a lot of racket and perform the "broken wing" act.  One chick was seen. (Wolf. Oesterreich, 6/11/17)

June 16, 2018: Northwest Sunset


The sun sets through the clouds in the northwest corner of the park near the new access parking area. (Kevin Kane, 6/9/18)

June 15, 2018: Rose-breasted Grosbeak



A pair of Rose-breasted Grosbeaks were observed gathering nesting material at the bluff area.  The male is on the left. (Wolf. Oesterreich, 6/7/18)
