Jan 26, 2019: Soaring Eagle

Jan 24, 2019: Four Years Past

A couple things to notice from this photo of the northern hills from January 26th, 2015 - no snow and two farmsteads.  Yes, this was the view before the new northern development started! (Wolf Oesterreich, 1/26/15)

Jan 22, 2019: Headed South

It is probably safe to say that the Great Blue Heron has headed south.  The last time I found the heron was on January 2nd, along the south lake's outflow channel (actually in Calhoun Park).  The heron broke the previous late record (set in 2015) for the Park by 2 days. (Wolf. Oesterreich, 1/2/19)
