Oct 13, 2017: American White Pelican

Oct 10, 2017: Orange-crowned Warbler




One of the last warbler species to pass through besides the Yellow-rumped Warbler, is the Orange-crowned Warbler.  This one was found in an old Cup Plant, along the south lake's west bay. (Wolf. Oesterreich, 10/4/17)

This Muskrat had been feeding along the lakes trail (just west of the bridge) for a couple of days.  The first time I spotted it, so much vegetation had been stuffed into the right cheek that I thought it was going to burst. (Wolf. Oesterreich, 10/1/17)
