August 29, 2021: Snapping Turtles

At Jensen Pond, two Snapping Turtles appeared to be in conflict. They swirled around each other, with one trying to climb on top of the other.  After a few minutes they stopped, as if to "rest".  Then they started again.  This routine went on for a while and probably continued after I left the area. (Wolf. Oesterreich, 8/30/21)

A family of 6 House Wrens was found in the woods at the NE corner of Jensen Pond.  This individual flew down close to me after I "pished". (Wolf. Oesterreich, 8/4/21)
