June 29, 2017: Gray Copper




A male Gray Copper (Lycaena dione), a member of the Lycaenidae family, is nectaring on an invasive plant, Birdsfoot Trefoil.  On the left is a dorsal view, with a ventral view on the right. (Wolf. Oesterreich, 6/16/17)
