There are three characteristics that make this sandpiper a
White-rumped Sandpiper (without seeing the white rump): wing-tips slightly
longer than the tail, streaking along the flanks, and red at the base of the
lower mandible. This bird was found at Pool C, along with 3 Least
Sandpipers. (Wolf. Oesterreich, 5/7/19)
