Dr. Brian Wilsey (ISU Dept of Ecology, Evolution, & Organismal
Biology) presented a program on "Restoration Ecology" for the Friends Thursday evening's Interpretive Program (7/23). He discussed successful and
failed prairie restorations, carbon sequestration in prairies verses
forests, and annual verses perennial plants.On a short walk we examined a
