I was surprised to find 2 adult
Mute Swans among the 93 Trumpeter Swans this morning. The sighting of
this species was only my second for the Park. There is no way of knowing
if these Mute Swans are escapees or wild birds. On the mornings of the
13th and 14th, 102 Trumpeter Swans were tallied. The photograph shows 1
of the Mute Swans among 5 Trumpeter Swans. Note the orange bill and black
