May 7, 2018: Wilson's Snipe

Another bird lurking in the shoreline vegetation is the Wilson's Snipe, a shorebird with a long bill and strong markings on the back.  They'll usually flush if you come close enough. (Wolf. Oesterreich, 4/13/18)
