Aug 4, 2019: Common Green Darner

Common Green Darners are one of the more common North American dragonflies and has one of the most dramatic migrations for an Odonate.  This photograph shows a female perching low in the vegetation. (Wolf. Oesterreich, 8/1/19)

Hindwing Length= 46-53 mm
